Kadi Vija 3 is a brand new entrant on the Finnish jazz scene. The band’s music includes jazz, literally. The composition of the band and Vija’s compositions resemble the traditional combination of trumpet/saxophone – double bass – drums. Singer Kadi Vija, double bass player Mikael Saastamoinen and drummer Ville Luukkonen manage to create an environment and sound that includes the joy of music, freedom and space to experiment.
