Welcome to a discovery walking tour into the heart of Salo!
This guided walking tour starts at the city hall, and introduces you to the main sights along the river, charming parks, memorials, and picturesque wooden houses – enriched by stories from the past, the present and the future. The tour is organized by Salon Oppaat ry (Salo Guides Association) in cooperation with the City of Salo.

Language
The tour is conducted in English. Your guide is Sari Scimone from Salon Oppaat ry (Salo Guides Association).

Duration
The tour lasts approximately 1½ to 2 hours.

Good to know
The walking route follows pedestrian paths in Salo city center and along the riverfront. The route is mainly accessible. Please note, that there may be some loose gravel, cobblestones, and slight elevation changes. Total distance is about 2.5 km.
The tour is a walking tour, and we are not visiting inside of any attractions.
The entire tour takes place outdoors and will go ahead in all weather conditions. We recommend weather-appropriate clothing, good walking shoes, a water bottle, and an umbrella.

Please note that participation is at your own risk. We recommend checking your personal insurance coverage before the tour.

Availability
The tour is guaranteed to take place. Maximum group size: 40 participants.
Tickets are available as long as capacity allows. Online sales via Johku close one hour before the tour starts. After that, you can check directly with the guide at the starting point if there are tickets still available.
Cancellations may also open up spots. On-site tickets can be paid in cash (exact change only).

Price
€10 per adult (incl. VAT). Children (0–14 years) free of charge.
The price includes the guided tour.

Please reserve your ticket in advance! Bookings at the latest one hour before the start of the tour via following page:

You can also ask about available tickets at the departure point and pay in cash (exact amount only).

Payment
Pay online via Johku at the time of booking, no later than one hour before the start of the tour.
Cash payment only at the departure point for those registering on-site.

Cancellation policy
All bookings are binding. Tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
