Producer Charles Gil, who is celebrating his 30th anniversary, presents two ensembles at the SaloJazz concert:
Poems for Peace is an emotional, meditative peace manifesto by two saxophonists, Joakim Berghäll and Adele Sauros. The compositions at the concert are based on anti-war poems written in various crisis areas around the world.
T.I.M. duo cultivates fascinating experimental music in the spirit of folk music. The duo is formed by Norwegian violinist Inger Hannisdal and French pianist Sébastien Palis. The duo’s captivating minimalism straddles the border between folk music and improvisation, mixing acoustic expression and homemade electronics.
