Children’s Saturday: Lukemisen supervoimaa – puppet theater
On Children’s Saturday, on 12.10.24 at 13 o’clock, Nukketeatteri Piironginlaatikko will present the puppet theater performance “The Superpower of Reading”.
What to do when Samuel doesn’t enjoy reading? Could the machine, invented by his grandfather, help? It can do all sorts of tricks. In the story written by Ilona Willebrandt, Samuel and his good friend Mato go on an adventure. Together with their grandfather, they participate in the Inventor Club’s Invention of the Year competition, judged by the grumpy Miss Ylikärppä. Miss Ylikärppä’s hat ends up in the machine and shrinks. This only makes her even grumpier. Samuel’s mother sings comforting songs and his grandfather reads stories. At the end of the story, Samuel figures out what the superpower of reading really means.
