Baby Friday: BabySauna – a multi-sensory experience for babies
On Baby Friday, September 27, 2024, Loiske Ensemble’s BabySauna performance offers an art experience and sensory experiences for baby viewers.
BabySauna introduces viewers to Finnish sauna culture. In the performance, the calm atmosphere of sauna bathing is sensed through the sounds of water, dance accompanied by sauna stones, and colorful washing buckets. BabySauna also showcases familiar bathing gestures and the joys of playing in water. After the performance, the audience gets to try out the elements experienced and seen in the performance.

A Näkkäri card, which allows free entry for 2 people, can also be borrowed from Salo’s main library.
The performance takes place in a theater classroom, in the same building as Kulttuuritila Näkkäri and Kansalaisopisto, at Ylhäistentie 2, Salo. The theater classroom can accommodate a total of 30 people, so please secure your spot by purchasing a ticket or reserving a seat in advance from online store of the City of Salo. Tickets can also be purchased with a card at the door before the performance. The doors open 30 minutes before the start of the performance.
