Do you like ice swimming or have you always wanted to try it? Start your winter holiday in Salo, where a hilarious ice swimming event is held all around Salo! There will be ice holes, saunas, a fashion show, winter festivities, freezing offers, and much more.

The main event of the ice swimming event will take place at the market square in Salo on Saturday, February 17th from 12pm to 4pm!
Live performance by Antti Ketonen! (Note! Temperature limit -15 degrees Celsius) If the concert is canceled, recorded music will be played at the event.
There will be a sauna (Space of mind wood-fired sauna), hot tubs, cold pools, a fashion show, a market café, market vendors. Bring your swimsuit and towel and come enjoy the unique event at the market square in Salo.
Rikalanmäki Riverside Restaurant open on the day of the ice swimming event, February 17th from 12pm to 4pm.
Cold and hot drinks available. Also present is Mikko Kukkonen from Pure Nordic Distillery showcasing authentic products from their distillery in Salo.

On Saturday, February 17th from 3pm to 7pm, sauna fee is 5 euros. Note! There is a wood-fired sauna and the benches can accommodate 10-12 people at a time.
In the cabin, sauna coffee and pastries are sold. In the grill shelter, you can grill your own sausages and enjoy snacks. Welcome!

Welcome to our sauna located in the middle of beautiful nature to enjoy cold water and warm steam.
On Saturday, February 17th, from 12pm to 3pm, there is a family ice hole sauna and from 3pm to 6pm, a silent sauna.
On Sunday, February 18th, from 12pm to 4pm, there is an atmospheric sauna.
Adult sauna fee is 5 euros, children 3 euros.

Teijo village sauna has been in operation for over 120 years, come and enjoy our magnificent sauna and refreshing dip in the pond. In the fireplace room, you can grill and buy sauna drinks or enjoy your own snacks.

Ystävyyden Majatalo is a cozy, unique, and beautiful inn by the lake. We are located in Kruusila, heading from Salo towards Helsinki. It is also a place of recovery for people recovering from life’s setbacks. It is perhaps the most inconspicuous, yet important function of this place.
We are open on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00-20:00. Juice and sausages are available. We kindly ask for a friendly donation for using the ice hole sauna. If you are coming with a larger group, please let us know in advance to avoid congestion. Welcome! Phone number: 050 362 3710

On Saturday, February 17th, all shops and the cafe at Mathildedalin Ruukinranta will be open until 6pm and the restaurant until 9pm.
Pukkila Manor’s Shrove Tuesday celebration on February 18th from 12-4pm
Welcome to enjoy a family-friendly Shrove Tuesday celebration in the countryside of Pukkila Manor, only 10km from Salon Tori.
Pukkila offers a good time for the whole family and souvenirs for every taste.
Expect thrilling sled rides, warm soup, delicious Shrove Tuesday buns, and steaming drinks. Local producers will be selling their products on-site, including Peltosaari Sheep Farm, Alaspää Farm, Antsu Mustard, West Gård/Raasepori Meat Processing, Veljesten Cucumbers, Katiskanmäki Local Food Kiosk, Kirakan Turkey, Hunajavilli & Varsin Villi.
There will also be sheep and bonfires in the yard. Kukkapalvelu Unikko will be creating flower bouquets at the event.
