Wonderfull Rag rug

Have you always wanted to learn how to design and weave a rag rug that fits your home perfectly?

In this course, you will learn everything about making a rag rug, cutting the fabric strips, designing the rug, weaving, and finishing the mat.

The course focuses on traditional Finnish rag rug weaving. The course consists of three sessions where you will learn the tricks of cutting rug fabric and design your own lovely rag rug. We will schedule the weaving of the rag rug individually with each participant. In addition to the course fee, there will be charges for the weaving days, warp, and any additional weaving materials used.

Course dates:

• Sat 5th September 2026, 10:30 am – 1:30 pm
• Sat 12th September 2026, 10:30 am – 1:30 pm
• Weaving will take place as agreed between these dates
• Sat 24th October 2026, 10:30 am – 1:30 pm (Mat finishing)
