Spivotsa Mrija – Help for Ukraine
Sat 9.5.2026 at 17:00 - 18:00
Halikko church
The singers of the Spivotsa Mrija (Singing Dream) choir have found each other in Finland after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine. Most of them are war refugees; mothers, daughters, grandmothers, who have settled in the Turku region. They founded the choir in February -24 and have already performed numerous times, including at the Kaustinen Folk Music Festival.
The choir members sing Ukrainian melodies to support and comfort each other, to make Ukrainian music known to Finns, and to help their homeland with the voluntary fees from the concerts.
The aid is delivered in full and without deductions to the volunteer organization Feeniks.
Free entry, voluntary program fee.
