Salo evening market – Egotrippi

Lounaismaan Osuuspankki is hosting an evening market starring Egotrippi on June 6, 2024! The artist will start at approximately 6 PM.

Egotrippi, which celebrated its 30th anniversary last fall, continues to celebrate this milestone with an extensive summer tour. After several years of silence, Egotrippi’s 30th anniversary celebrations began last fall when the band played their only concerts of the year at the sold-out Huvilateltta during Helsinki Festival.

Egotrippi, which has sold double platinum, platinum, and gold throughout their career, played their first concert at Kulosaari Casino in the fall of 1993. Their breakthrough came in 2003 with hits like “Älä koskaan ikinä,” “Matkustaja,” “Koivuniemen herra,” “Posteljooni,” and “Unihiekkaa,” when their album “Matkustaja” earned them their first gold record. The following year, their compilation album “20 suosikkia” went platinum, and the song “Matkustaja” was awarded the Emma statue for the best Finnish song of the year. With their sixth album, “Vielä koittaa uusi aika,” the band reached the top of the charts for the first time, and their album “Maailmanloppua odotellessa,” released in 2008, was awarded three Emma statues. After a few years of hiatus and lineup changes, the band reactivated and released what many consider to be their best albums.
