Rikalanmäki Sparkling Wine Tasting
Spring’s most sparkling evening is calling! Rikalanmäki sparkling wine tasting on Friday, April 10th at 6:30 pm.
Welcome to a tasting where we compare the styles, production methods, and growing areas of Europe’s most famous bubbles. During the evening, we will taste three excellent sparkling wines and one champagne:
Veuve Ambal Crémant
Verrocchio Prosecco
Sumarrocca Grand Reserva Cava
Pol Roger Brut Réserve Champagne
The purpose of the evening is to explore how different production methods – from tank method to traditional champagne method – affect the taste and style. The tasting will be led by wine expert Laura Kavander (WSET Dip), who will expertly but down-to-earthly guide participants into the world of bubbles.
During the tasting, a tasting plate suitable for sparkling wines will be served:
Whitefish roe croustades (L)
Beef carpaccio with aioli (M, G)
Krouvi’s potato chips (M, G)
Helsinki Cheese Farm’s country brie with sea buckthorn-apple jam (L, G)
