Pumpkin Drop Zone

BOOM! The Pumpkin Weeks, held in Salo from 10th to 26th October 2025, offer something new and different this year as Heinä Ltd. and Citius Imaging Ltd Oy set up the PUMPKIN DROP ZONE.

On four evenings between 15:00-20:00, you have the opportunity to test what happens when you drop a pumpkin from a height of a couple of meters using our Drop Tester device.

Additionally, you will receive and can share high-speed camera footage of the event as a souvenir.

A limited number of pumpkins are available per evening, so it’s advisable to arrive early. Registration takes place on-site during the event.
