Night of the Ancient Fires -weekend brings experiences, music, movement, good food, and atmospheric togetherness to Mathildedal.

You can start the weekend on Friday with an interesting excursion to taste local flavors. During the excursion, you will get to know the local delicacies and the beautiful rural landscapes while riding electric mountain bikes. (fee required)

On Saturday, at the yoga & sauna evening by Lake Matilda, you can experience yoga, meditation, gong sound vibrations, Finnish sauna, clean lake water, and the relaxing health benefits of swimming. (fee required).

On Saturday evening, dance enthusiasts can dance the night away at the rooftop bar. The evening at Harri’s Rooftop Lounge starts with a bachata dance beginner class. The rest of the evening will be guided by a DJ, free entry.

At Mathilda’s Marina, DJs will set the mood amidst the glow of ancient fires. The evening program also includes acrobatics, salsa, and samba dance performances. Free entry.

At Restaurant Terho, Sarparanta will take the stage (fee required) and at Bistro Bruket, the atmosphere will be set by Ivan Radeka Duo.

Sunday morning starts refreshingly with dockside yoga by the sea at Mathilda’s Marina (fee required, weather permitting).

The village’s other activities such as Adventure Minigolf, tennis and padel courts, Bikepark, and golf course are also open throughout the weekend. Likewise, all cafes, restaurants, and boutiques.
