The two-day Wooden Boat Festival invites boating enthusiasts to an unforgettable experience in Mathildedal!
Held for the first time in June 2025, the Mathildedal Wooden Boat Festival brings a classic boat event and passionate enthusiasts to Mathildan Marina harbour in the seaside village of Salo.
Visitors can admire stunning classic boats and the harbor’s wooden boat parade, as well as attend expert lectures. The festival offers a maritime celebration with live music, and a guided village tour takes guests on a journey through the history of this ironworks village. A marketplace, along with Mathildedal’s diverse accommodation, restaurants and artisan shops, caters to every sailor’s needs. Additionally, the unique nature of the nearby national park provides relaxation for souls weathered by the sea.
