Let’s meet -working life event

The Taitajankatu campus of the Salo region vocational college is hosting a working life event for immigrants. The event will provide information on training, jobs in Salo, entrepreneurship, and leisure opportunities, as well as interesting talks.

Program

• 10 am to 11 am Information session on training opportunities. Presentation of training programs in the metal industry, social and health care, and cleaning services
• 12 pm to 12.30 pm Want to start a business? Entrepreneurship coach Ani Grigoryan and specialist Juha Metsänoja, KotoSalo and KotoSomero -project/ Yrityssalo Oy
• 12.30 pm to 1 pm Entrepreneur’s turn: Martin Rullers, Baltic Kauppa
• 1 pm to 1.30 pm Upcoming labor market training and frequently asked questions about job hunting, employment specialists Eija Pulkki, Vesa Kiminki, Minna Nikander, and Riika Kotilainen, Salo city employment services
• 1.30 pm to 2 pm Success stories in working life – people who have found employment share their experiences
• 10 am to 2 pm CV-photography, job search workshop, and job interview simulations using VR-glasses in the gym

The presentation points are located in the gym. The event will feature Turku university of applied sciences, Salo adult education center, Salo city sports services, Salo city cultural services, Ohjaamo Salo, Yrityssalo Ltd., UN Women Finland Salo Local Committee, Finnish Red Cross Salo Branch, VPS Personnel Services, Eezy Personnel Services, and Bolt.Works.

Presentations will be held in the auditorium.
