A unique cultural experience for the whole family
In the heart of the Carpathians in Western Ukraine, the centuries-old and distinctive Hutsul culture thrives. Hutsul music is known for its special melodies, rhythms, and dances that captivate the listener from the first notes and steps.
The national song and dance ensemble Hutsulia is one of Ukraine’s oldest and most respected professional folk ensembles. The ensemble has performed in over 12,000 concerts around the world, delighting audiences from Canada to Italy and from Germany to Greece.
The ensemble’s repertoire consists of Hutsul song and dance traditions: powerful choral compositions, virtuosic solos, and stunning dance choreographies. The stage shines with colorful hand-embroidered costumes, wood and metal decorations, and finely-tuned movements. The concert includes highlights of Hutsul dance, such as Arkan, recognized as part of UNESCO’s intangible cultural heritage, and traditional ritual dances like Ples performed during Christmas.
Get ready for a joyful, warm-hearted, and unique cultural experience for the whole family — and a great start to the Christmas season celebrations, welcome!
