Children´s Saturday in Näkkäri, Central Finland Dance Centre: Pomp Pulina

Sat 14.11.2026 at 13:00 - 13:35
Kulttuuritila Näkkäri, Ylhäistentie 2
This event has taken accessibility partially in account.

Far away in the moon is the quietest place in the universe, the moon library. Every now and then, the books in the library get covered in nonsense. There are two kinds of nonsense. The first is the nonsense of children and poets. It tickles the tip of the nose and makes you laugh.
And then there is that other nonsense…
It’s better to stay away from that.

Pomp pulina is bouncing balls, chatter of words, and the sound of dance. In the work, literary art and dance are combined into a seamless whole. The performance, aimed at children in daycare and elementary school age, is a thoughtful and fun look at worldviews, fixations, and the lightness of the Moon. Recommended age 3+. Duration 35 min.

The performance is part of the Sanojen Salo – festival of poetry and literary art.
