Baby Friday – Auraco: Embrace

The language of the performance is Finnish, but it is also suitable for those with beginning language skills. There is barrier-free access to the venue through the backyard of Ylhäistentie 2 and the main lobby of the building. (Parking spaces for disabled people in the backyard.) The event requires paid admission tickets, but a Näkkäri card can be borrowed from the Salo Main Library, which allows two people to enter the event free of charge.

Embrace is dance and music, joy and color. Wonderment and smile. Maybe a little bit of bafflement, too. Embrace is many arm lengths of nonverbal interaction between the audience and the artists. Dance and mime theatre Auraco’s new work Embrace is a gentle and beautiful artistic moment that has no best before date; it is always best, experienced embraced.

The starting point to this work is the idea of a shared embrace between a child and an adult, where the natural interaction is strong and powerful. For a child, being in an adult’s arms is a sanctuary and a place to grow.

The theater classroom is located in the premises of the Salon Adult Education Center at Ylhäistentie 2, entrance through the main door of the building. The event series is organized by the Cultural Services of the City of Salo.

Tickets:

basic ticket (adult + baby) 10 euros
additional person (over 3 years old) 10 euros
children under 3 years old and assistants free of charge.

NOTE! The maximum audience capacity for the performance is 30 people/15 baby-adult pairs. Due to the limited audience capacity, we recommend purchasing or reserving tickets through the online store.

During Baby Fridays, you can also use the Näkkäri card borrowed from the information point at Salon Main Library, granting free entry for two people.

Tickets are also sold at the events, if the event is not fully booked. Ticket sales start 30 minutes before the event with card payment or E-pass.
