Known above all for his energetic, improvisation-based concerts, Arppa with his band is one of the top names in current Finnish indie-genre. Arppa’s delightful music is timeless and the lyrics are like moving pictures – the insightful, sincere and perceptively described atmospheres move from Kokkola’s Ykspihlaja all the way through night time Helsinki to a secret hideout with Laila Kinnunen on July ’58.
